When I began my journey as a case manager at EFH, I never imagined I’d witness a love story unfold right before my eyes. It was a privilege to guide two incredible individuals through our Transitional to Success (TTS) program, each with their own unique stories and challenges. Little did I know their paths would intertwine in the most beautiful way.
Two Paths Converge
Meet James, a devoted father of four, and Letecia, a loving mother of three. They came to EFH as individuals, each seeking stability and a fresh start for their families. The road to recovery can be filled with many challenges. They were committed to creating better lives for their children, and it was inspiring to watch them grow.
A New Beginning Together
Months down the road, James and Letecia approached me with a unique request. They had decided to combine their families and move into an EFH unit together. It was a big step, but one they were excited to take. They wanted to create a home filled with love, laughter, and support for their seven children.
A Personal Touch
One day, James and Leticia walked into my office with a heartfelt request. They didn’t want a stranger to officiate their wedding – they wanted someone who knew them both as individuals and as a couple. They asked me to officiate their ceremony. I was deeply honored and touched by their trust in me.
Knowing their individual stories and seeing their growth as a couple allowed me to plan the perfect wedding experience for them. I wanted to ensure their ceremony reflected their unique journey and the love that had brought them together.
